MAP Mentorship Seed Grant: 2019-2020 Application
The goal of this program is to support the mentorship of undergraduate researchers by creating new mentorship groups providing funds to enrich the learning environment and opportunities. We will award a total of three, one-year grants of $16,500 each. We welcome all memory and plasticity laboratories to apply.

Proposals will be evaluated by a faculty review committee with expertise spanning areas of MAP research. Review criteria will include, but are not limited to:
Preference will be given to proposals from multiple PIs, collaborative projects involving faculty from different disciplines, different areas of expertise and/or at different departments (though proposals from any UC Davis PI will be considered).

Proposals will be evaluated by a faculty review committee with expertise spanning areas of MAP research. Review criteria will include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to impart a wide breadth of knowledge of learning and memory at the cognitive, systems, or cellular level (multi-PI and across discipline proposals will be weighted higher).
- Evidence of prior interest in undergraduate mentorship or training.
- Number of potential undergrads that can be mentored.
- Plan for usage of funds, as well as for obtaining future funds to continue this program.
